Re: Welcome to the New Forums!

I recall trying to update phpBB many years ago and at that point it wasn't working at all. I'm not sure if I have the old database files anymore.

Front/rear balance via -balance no longer used?

The audio code was updated some time ago to more accurately reflect the actual channels present and BalanceFrontRear/BalanceLeftRight were added. It looks like "Balance" is deprecated? I'd like to update the command line options if so. EDIT: never mind, it is used after all in SCSP.cpp. Bu...

Re: unable to load bitmap crosshair texture

No, my command prompt has been at home folder level, and running the executable by typing in its full path: /home/arcade/Supermodel/bin/supermodel Would that change the behavior somehow? Yes, if you issue this command from ~/ it would look in ~/Config, ~/Assets, etc., which don't exist. The working...

Re: unable to load bitmap crosshair texture

Where did you run it from? If you ran it from ~/Supermodel like this: bin/supermodel
Then it should use ~/Supermodel.

Re: unable to load bitmap crosshair texture

My knowledge of linux/unix standards is far from perfect, so the contributor that suggested this may be right. But to me it would seem easier to have it first look in the working folder from where the program was run? I am probably in the wrong in that I just left the executable in the spot that it...

Re: unable to load bitmap crosshair texture

I had a couple more minutes tonight to play with this. Turns out that instead of just having the Assets folder in ~/supermodel where it was after compiling, the program was looking for it in ~/.local/share/supermodel. Figured this out by just running "supermodel" with no rom or other opti...

Re: Welcome to the New Forums!

The old forum was unfortunately broken by a necessary server upgrade and is still archived here . Hey Bart, thanks for the new forum! I noticed the old forum also appears to have the upgraded version of the phpBB, which looks like the new forum (unless there are backend forum engine stuff different...

Re: Model 3 official emulation on Yakuza games!

The Yakuza emulator appears to use Direct3D. How hard would it be to intercept and decompile the shaders? I think Direct3D shaders are compiled and rather than distributed in text source form like our GLSL shaders.

Re: Cannot Stretch Screen Resolution

It stretches on the other system but with the exact same config it doesn't stretch? What about other apps that allow an arbitrary resolution to be specified? Also, how does widescreen alone look?
