Binding ESC to a joystick

Postby processedmeat » Thu Nov 17, 2016 11:15 am

Hi all, I'm building a multi Star Wars yoke arcade cabinet and after reading through the documentation I noticed that I can't rebind or add an joystick button to simulate an ESC in Supermodel. I'm using the Ultimarc A-PAC so it simulates a gamepad controller. I tried an autohotkey script to simulate ESC when I press a particular joystick button which works in my frontend but when I try it in Supermodel it doesn't work. Anybody have better luck with JoytoKey or Xpadder before I fork over the money? Thanks for reading.

Joy2key is free so no need to fork out any cash for that one. I'm pretty certain you can bind the escape key to a button with it (I would test it but all my USB ports are currently in use charging various gizmos). I'm not sure about Xpadder through.
