Problem with GlovePie and wiimotes

Postby Cecilmax » Thu Dec 08, 2016 11:36 am

Hello guys,

I wonder if someone already experimented that problem. I try to use GlovePie with wiimotes, but whatever script I try, like mouse.x = wiimote.pointerx as example, when I click Run, my wiimote start rumble like hell and doesn't stop until I power it off or stop the script. I click run again, sometime it rumble again and sometimes not. It is a bug, do I miss something ?

I use GlovePie 0.43 on Windows 10 with may flash sensor bar as bluetooth.

I have another issue, it is possible to force click mouse with GlovePie ? I try something like:
if Key.A then
mouse.buttonright = true
end if

and it doesn't work, but when I try
debugprint(mouse.buttonright)

it show true when I right click ...

Do I miss something ?

Thanks for your help :)

Hello, new member here. What game are you trying to play? There are scripts for Supermodel, but all Model 3 machines have different controls. The only script I could find is for The Lost World. If you are trying to play that, then the script is here:
// Wiimote mouse script for Windows desktop
// Requires a sensor bar

var.ButtonFreezeTime = 250ms
var.PointerBump = KeepDown(Pressed(wiimote.A),var.ButtonFreezeTime) or KeepDown(Pressed(wiimote.B),var.ButtonFreezeTime)
Wiimote.Led1 = true

// Mouse movement
if wiimote.PointerVisible but not var.PointerBump then
mouse.x = wiimote.PointerX
mouse.y = wiimote.PointerY
end if

// Mouse Buttons
mouse.LeftButton = Wiimote.B
mouse.LeftButton = Nunchuck.Z
mouse.RightButton = Nunchuck.JoyX
mouse.RightButton = Nunchuck.JoyY
mouse.MiddleButton = Wiimote.Home and KeepDown(Wiimote.PointerVisible,0.5s)
mouse.XButton1 = Wiimote.Minus
mouse.XButton2 = Wiimote.Plus

// Keyboard Buttons

Z = Wiimote.Plus
X = Wiimote.Minus
c = Wiimote.A
V = Wiimote.One
B = Wiimote.One
N = Wiimote.Two
Up = Wiimote.Up
Down = Wiimote.Down
Left = Wiimote.Left
Right = Wiimote.Right

endif

// Mouse Wheel
if wiimote.Up then
mouse.WheelUp = true
wait 30ms
mouse.WheelUp = false
wait 30ms
end if
if wiimote.Down then
mouse.WheelDown = true
wait 30ms
mouse.WheelDown = false
wait 30ms
end if

I'm not sure why you need to use GlovePIE for anything? I have a Wiimote and Mayflash bar and Supermodel is calibrated through command line.
