Sdl2 wouldn't fix this. The issue is technically in opengl 3 they depreciated half the api. These functions are not available in a core context. They are in a compatibly context which is the default under windows. Unfortunately as far as i understand osx only supports core contexts.

Yes, I totally understand. Actually I've changed the Makefile to use SDL2 instead of SDL and got too many errors, some of them coming from the input system. Do you mind even so, I try to go and fix the compilation issues by myself with your feedback and help when needed?

i'll fix it when I have some time ..
Just need to pass the texture size as a uniform to the shader, instead of relying on the built in function

Looks like Ian pushed a change that should fix this for you. Can you confirm?

Awesome job!! Yes, it now works flawlessly ! I had to some edit on the Makefile for OSX and move the config folder into the bin folder to make it work though because I was getting some XML parsing errors upon launching the games. So, thanks once again and if I can send the updated Makefile for OSX just let me know. Actually I'm guy who suggested moving on to GIT on Reddit sometime ago, to allow for Pull Requests :)

Moving to git is a good idea. I think once the dust clears and we're ready for the release, I'll move it to my github account if Ian is okay with it.
