Mesh transparency in the m2emulator

Postby RedTail » Sun Jul 23, 2017 4:10 pm

Does anyone know why "MeshTransparency=1" doesn't seem to work in the m2emulator? I've got a modern GPU (GTX-970), so it should support Pixel Shader 3.0 as required (I think, heh).

Not sure. Works for me on my RX 480. Was working on my HD 7870 too, from what I remember.

But to use SSF as an example (which sports the same feature), sometimes the mesh is a literal mesh in the bitmap, and not a transparent mesh. That could be why it doesn't work in some examples.
