I was going to say, you can't compare colours from a CRT. But actually looking at especially the 2nd screenshot, in supermodel Jacky's hair is almost the same colour as his skin. Where as in the arcade version it looks like the spotlight is a different colour ,white not yellow.

I'll have a look at it when I have a few. Thanks for the save state :)

Model123 do you have any other screenshots or video of that scene? I had a look on YouTube but couldn't find any of the night scenes of that level.

I think it's just a step 1.0 clamping issue. Think the code needs to read like this

Currently we are clamping first, then adding the spot light which drives the brightness over 100%.

Edit: Never mind I found a save state for it. Quite interesting bug, it's not using the scrollfog paramater at all.

doteater, your screenshots were fine. The old spotlight code was good but not an exact match to the arcade. Harry totally rewrote the spotlight code and it's a very close match to the arcade if not perfect. So I was surprised that these bugs still existed in vf3.
