I manged to do a couple of pretty good runs on the Daytona USA 2 Challenge Course in Outrun 2 over this weekend (It's not a Model 3 game, but it's connected). This is with my UK copy of the game. I'm uploading a run on the Japanese game as we speak.

Dunno if anyone uses it, but I've had a few issues with the Model 2 emulator not saving my scores and it's because of LaunchBox, so just use the original launcher if you plan on setting scores, etc.

So, I recently did some Daytona USA runs (meaning Model 2) and I decided to post them here.

All done with manual transmission, hardest difficulty, sprint race type.

Three-Seven Speedway (Beginner)

Dinosaur Canyon (Advanced)

Seaside Street Galaxy (Expert)

Is it me or you were changing the view camera of the car synced with the music on purpose at 1:30 in the advanced course?

It's a little silly thing I started randomly doing, even in my Xbox Live Arcade copy a while back. I don't why, but it isn't harming me...unless I crash or something like that...

I also do this on The King of Speed song as well, despite me choosing Pounding Pavement for the run.

Just did some runs, and beated my own record, I don't think I will be able to do it again, unless I learn how to do the pitboxes route trick :|

I didn't even know the pitbox exploit was a thing until a day years ago when I was searching on the Daytona USA Xbox Live leaderboards (and this is when I had Gold, since that was required) to take on challenges, and, like the first ~top 25 (about top 25) has like used in this in the Three Seven Speedway course. I don't remember seeing any ones with that on Seaside Street Galaxy, but it's possible, as Marubaku-Gil has done it throughout their run, both laps.
