Daytona USA 2 Graphical Problem - My Config?

Hi there, I've been setting up Daytona USA 2 (Battle on the edge) and regardless of graphics settings I tick in the UI box, this is what it looks like.

As you can see the graphics with the wheel and the bars are far offset from their corresponding graphics. I was thinking this is just how the emulator is but then I saw an older video on youtube and we see this

Is the issue my graphics settings? my resolution? (I have it on its original resolution with GPU aspect ratio scaling) or has this been resolved in Power Edition? Maybe something else. I've tried to see if anyone else has mentioned this but so far I've come up with nothing. I'm using r860 UI and r862 of the emulator.

My guess would be that the foreground stretching is enabled.

Apologies for the phone pictures, I can't seem to print screen the emulator and have it show me what I'm seeing.

Anyway, I don't see any options for foreground stretching. I haven't edited any files outside of clicking tickboxes in the UI. Turning off widescreen per Ian results in this:

edit: Ok I've just changed the resolution to 1920x1080 from the original (496x384) and everything is aligned now. I was just trying to maintain an original looking aspect ratio but at this res nothing seems squashed or stretched. I assumed (my mistake lol) that the original resolution would provide the best look or compatibility with what you'd originally find in the arcade (like how people put CRT shaders on). Thanks for the replies Bart and Ian :D

Can you paste the contents of the Supermodel.ini file (which should be located in a folder called Config next to supermodel.exe) here? The GUI is unofficial so it might be doing something silly. You should be able to run in any resolution without this happening.

Had to do some emergency work on the PC I was doing this on. Everything is sorted now and I've set the resolution back to the original and confirmed the issue persists. Here is the supermodel.ini file in full

Sorry for the late response. I just tried it and it works for me. I wonder if the UI is doing some magic behind the scenes. Can you paste the Supermodel.log after running?

This is very bizarre. I simply cannot replicate it. Everything looks fine to me. I'm not sure what resolution is actually being used when 496x384 is selected (that's a weird resolution to attempt on modern GPUs). Presumably it is outputting at some multiple of this but using a 496x384 frame buffer. However, that should not affect rendering of the 2D layers.
