This is amazing! Thanks for sharing. As I mentioned in the comment on your first video, I believe that if the PowerPC core were replaced with a JIT (like Dolphin's), it would likely run full speed.

Ian: Any interest in pitching Model 3 conversions to Sega? ;) If they still have the source code to any of these games lying around, I think network-capable remakes would be pretty simple to get working. I wouldn't mind taking a year off to work on such a project.

I'd love to see supermodel with jit. We could run games at the correct clock speeds. I think it would drastically lower the minimum requirements.

Porting games to other platforms might be fun don't think it would be too hard with the original source. It wouldn't surprise me if they actually lost the source for some of the games.

This is really cool stuff. I'm happy to see someone has the effort to port Supermodel to the Switch. I was also thinking that both the PS5 and Xbox series X/S has enough horsepower to emulate Model 3. Because of those two systems are powered by X64 bit AMD processors, the performance will be fast enough to run games in 60 fps. I really don't know because the two consoles are utilizing AMD graphics. I know they were performance complaints about the frame rate dropping at sudden times while using AMD GPU's. I believe they have great potential in terms of PC components such as the CPU and GPU for example. Maybe we'll see if someone will port Supermodel to the big robust consoles.
Ferraris are the most prestigious cars ever made in my opinion. There very delicate and pristine☺️.

The current state of Supermodel would allow for some very accurate and enhanced ports. M2's ports of Virtua Racing works that way and apparently Sega themselves used ElSemi's Model 2 emulator with some manually inserted hooks in order to re-release Daytona USA in the arcades as "Sega Racing Classic" because they lack the original source code. If they had the source code, I would like to see a track creator developed.

Model 3 source code *might* exist. It was suggested to me when they first approached me that it does exist but the guy may have had no clue (he wasn't a developer). There was a Wii port of LA Machineguns with various assets replaced.

The new gen consoles would easily run SuperModel perfectly - the Series X and PS5 are probably at least 10x more powerful than needed...
For reference, a simple set top box PC with an embedded Ryzen R1505G Zen+ APU [same as an Athlon 3000G APU, so 2 core/4 thread and Vega 3 gfx...] can almost play Scud Race at 60 fps, so 8 cores of Zen 2 and 40 CUs of RDNA 2 could probably run 8 simultaneously instances of Supermodel easily... see this thread for the R1505G info I posted: https://www.supermodel3.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1945#p18338
[I've run 16 instances of Supermodel [w/ Daytona 2] on Linux with Ryzen 3950x/Radeon VII with no issues - see here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1815&hilit=3950x#p17266]...

With the XBox developer mode [https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/xbox-apps/devkit-activation], it "may" be possible to create a UWP version of Supermodel and side load it. I am a Linux/Mac guy, so don't really have the Windows knowledge/experience of what would would be required, or if the necessary APIs are exposed in developer mode.
Wondering if anyone else has tried?
[I have a Xbox One S with developer mode enabled [with RetroArch working], and would be willing to give it a try if someone can DM me a binary]. [I know Xbox One is tool slow/underpowered, but it would be a good proof of concept for Series X / S...]

Parabéns Sérgio_Prado!
Indeed a great achievement and with great progress, the games run very smooth from what I have seen, simply very good!!! And for what I have seen maybe an impulse to put this great emulator on other platforms!! What great news!...now I need a switch to play
I was just wondering if the games can't run in a total fullscreen on the switch...anyway great work Sérgio_Prado, muitos parabéns, continue!!

Re: Supermodelo en Nintendo Switch

Pardon my clumsiness writing in English, but it is not my native language.

I would like to build supermodel for Arm64 tegra X1 architecture of nvidia shield pro, which uses android tv version.
I have seen that it is possible on a nintendo switch that has a very similar architecture with minor differences alongside Nvidia jetson nano. Also in a raspberry pi4.
I cannot find a specific thread in the forum and I would like to create it. But my programming knowledge is 0. I have compiled supermodel on windows. I know it will not be that easy, of course, but I hope your help to guide my steps. What compilation environment is suitable? Is it possible to compile supermodel into android on command line?
What libraries would be necessary for the compilation?
If anyone knows someone who has done it already, I'd like to talk to them.
