Hi all! I'm brand new to the Sega 3 emulator. I'm trying to play Star Wars Trilogy running.

I'm getting a message "Wait setup this feedback lever" when it opens. I can bypass it by pressing 6.

Is there some way to prevent this from coming up?

Same question already asked before, anyway there are two answers to this:

or this

2 solutions

1 )enable force feedback option with -force-feedback in cmd line or ForceFeedback = 1 in Supermodel.ini
this is due to the recent emulation of the feedback lever

2) enter service menu->game assignments->feedback lever = disable

Just want to know what exactly is the "feedback lever" in the real-life arcade cabinet?

I think it's the actual joystick itself. There is a force feedback motor that can vibrate or apply force to the joystick to move it or resist your movement.

Thanks Bart, was wondering if disabling it would affect any other aspect of the game. Guess it's similar to what the steering wheels have.

Yeah, it's just a different drive board basically (or same drive board but with a different program and motor wiring; never actually seen either of these components myself). You can safely disable it. I do think we support joystick feedback now, though.
