Ahhh, it must be my Sherlock Holmes-like powers of deduction...

Instead of focusing on the newer and more demanding hardware, it would be more helpful emulating the older systems. those are in danger of being forgotten.

Proper CPS3 emulation would be nice. Eg the PSN edition of Third Strike is much closer to the original arcade than current CPS3 emulation or even the Dreamcast version.
Instead of trying to emulate as many systems as possible, current emulation should be improved.

also Japanese computer games of the 80s-90s should be made more accessible, before the arrival of Windows 95. but some difficulties exist.

There was a great version of Silent Scope for the original XBOX. It contained all three arcade games and a special EX mode and tons of extras. Oh, and a gert massive sniper light gun. You could probably pick up a copy for next to nothing these days, although you'd still need an old CRT TV for the lightgun to work. An additional cool feature (I've mentioned this before in this thread) is the fact you could take all the sniping accessories off and it doubled up as a Shotgun, complete with pump-action reloading - Perfect for House of the Dead 3 on the XBOX (which also included HOTD 2 as an unlockable bonus)

Changing the subject: I opened up this thread saying about how much I'd like to see a home conversion of Chase HQ 2. If you now do a Google search for "chase hq 2" "taito type x2" this thread now comes out as the number 2 Google result (not including the videos) out of over 12 000. Weird. I've influenced the very thing I was searching for news about.
