Sudden frame drop in Spikeout Final Edition

Hello,

When I was playing Spikeout Final Edition (using default settings), I experienced sudden frame drop when new enemies appeared in the scene. Frame dropped from around 50 fps to around 20 fps.

I tried to turn off both music and sound effect modules, frame drop issue still existed.

Is there any solution ?
