Yeah yeah very funny . I suspect this is making fun of what i write, i am just a average middle-class person and living cost are high these days, i can donate 50 a month no problem. If you can donate more to Bart then you're a better man than me :D

Hopefully everyone donates a little once a month to keep the Website and the project going.

I'm jealous that you guys are able to donate more than I can :( If this had happened a couple years ago I would have been in a position to donate a few hundred bucks. Sadly those days are gone and I'm struggling to make ends meet in this shitty ecomony. :(

+1 He's not buying a supercomputer or asking people to pay his bills.
A lot of people chip in what they feel like and it will get there.

Careful about having expectations too.
Helping Bart get a decent enough computer to run his own emulator isn't going to translate into him having more free time to work on it.

I'm grateful for the work that has already been done.
If Bart disappears with The Bart Fund and is never heard from again, I still came out ahead.
I have Super GT & Daytona 2 on my driving cab! :D

Just want to clarify that I wasn't making fun or teasing anyone. I don't even understand how it could be interpreted that way.

I just donated $30.00, i will donate another 20 in 2 weeks, 50 a month. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the day when the compatibility is the same as and as Bug Free as the M2 Emulator.

Thanks to all who have donated! With your help, I have finally purchased and assembled my new PC. I am extremely busy with research-related stuff and some other side projects but I hope to return to Supermodel at some point. I expect to have a little bit of free time in November and in December.

For those who are curious, the specs of my new system are:

- Intel i5-2500K CPU (obtained for $180)
- ASRock Z68 Pro3 motherboard
- 8 GB RAM
- Nvidia 460 GTX-based video card (MSI NV460GTX Hawk)
- A 1TB Hitachi hard drive (64-bit Windows 7), and a 160GB secondary WD hard drive (still untested, hopefully working -- I plan to install Ubuntu on it this weekend)
- An Atheros chipset-based WiFi card
- Corsair 650W PSU

No optical drives. I had to RMA the initial PSU (Antec 550W) and WiFi card (Rosewill Ralink chipset-based). The PSU had a bad 12V rail and Ralink cards will occasionally lock up Win64 systems.

It runs fantastic so far! The donations took a good chunk out of the price and I shopped around for reasonably cheap components. Most of it came from Newegg but the CPU and GPU came from NCIX. Still kicking myself for missing an amazing deal on another 460GTX card by one day :(

Supermodel runs fantastic. I've been playing at 1920x1080 and it runs flawlessly. This is the first time I've been able to really play it. Daytona 2 and Scud Race are lots of fun!

Thanks, guys!

I think the best part will be when Bart finds somthing that doesn't go right and it will be like:

"Hmm, this particular slowdown in turn 7 is screwing up my times, I hope the programmer fixes it soon...Oh wait, I AM the programmer!

*lots of fast typing code*

There, slowdown fixed. Now to get that fast lap..."
