Automated Builds

Merry Christmas! It's been a difficult year but I hope that everyone has found some holiday cheer and is staying safe. I noticed today that the official Supermodel download page is hosting automated SVN snapshots for 64-bit Windows. Santa's elves told me their bot checks once per day for changes to SVN and automatically packages a new build, if it compiles. Should there be any hiccups, they'll be monitoring this thread.

Belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your Elves.
Great to have an official download page. :D

PS.
"OPT = -Ofast" in the rules file is causing white planet surface texture in Star Wars, i had posted here...

https://www.supermodel3.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1863&p=18077#p18077

(I might of posted in the wrong place or it got buried)

PPS.
Aren't the dll files "baked in" to a GCC build and therefore redundant? (The network one suggests it's net enabled?)

Wow, this is a great find! Thanks! I guess it should be dialed back to -O3. I was baffled by this issue and had assumed it was something to do with my 2070's drivers at the time.

You are correct. For some reason I thought SDL was still dynamically linked but I've confirmed it is not. Net board is not enabled currently but that can be switched on.

The recent addition of -wide-bg option, together with the -wide-screen option is really awesome.
A 16:9 (or 21:9 if u got a ultra-wide monitor) screen definitely give game like spikeout, virtua fighter 3 a refresh look.

The LAN support is also wonderful. I do see there is improvement over previous years' build and I know that it is really difficult for those latency stuff.
As an old arcade gamer, I am already very grateful to see some games link up in my home PC !!! :)

Good job all you guys !
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the supermodel developers
