Set Controller Number

Postby danifunker » Sat Apr 24, 2021 12:51 pm

Greetings! Thanks for this software.

I have a complicated setup where there are multiple controllers connected to my system, and I want the one that is listed 3rd to be JOY_1.

How can I do this

Here is the output when I press 'i' after running
Code: Select all
supermodel -config-inputs -input-system-xinput

Code: Select all
Input System Settings
---------------------

Input System: Xinput

Keyboards:
 System Keyboard
Mice:
 System Mouse
Joysticks:
 1: Controller
 2: 6B controller
3: Xbox 360 Controller 1 (via XInput) [Force Feedback Available]

I ended up doing some stuff to make it work by editing the supermodel.ini file and doing a search and replace for JOY1_ with JOY3_

It seems to be working, but it's not the ideal solution.

Also crosshairs don't seem to be working properly in Jurassic Park Lost World, however they ARE working in the Ocean game

Jurassic Park supports both light guns and “analog guns”. For now this requires a change to Games.xml. I forget what we landed on but crosshair behavior is different. I believe in the case of light guns there is no cross hair except for Supermodel’s (which can be toggled with Alt+I).

Thanks, I'll try to change the gun type to see if I can get the crosshairs. ALT+I hasn't been working in the current configuration. I'll get back to you with my findings later.

The default is set to analog_gun1

I tried to change it to light_gun1 in the config, and I hope that will work. I'll probably test it later on the weekend.
