If this is real then it appears that they got quite a few in-game advertisement spots and so on which doesn't mean much. I guess the real question is why is there a need to be that secretive for a game that doesn't have a strong following? Perhaps they feel this next installment of the game will truly go against Fifa and PES, and will completely dominate the arcades? Personally, I never been keen on Fifa due to its loose mechanics and the last football games I enjoyed were Sega Worldwide Soccer 97 & 98 (Sega Saturn) and ISS Pro 64 (Nintendo 64). If only they did Virtua Striker 3/4 with Sega WorldWide Soccer & ISS 64 mechanics, that would have been gold.

OH well. We have to wait and take this as a grain of salt...

I can see this coming on the Nintendo Switch in consideration of Virtua Striker 4. If SWITCH is the leading platform then I'd expect the graphics to be nigh similar or slightly better than Virtua Striker 4 but pumped out in 1080p widescreen. I also expect them to have an evolved version of the management system that really abuses their network thanks to their learning from the arcade version of Virtua Fighter TV (not the console version as that was just a barely a touch of the surface on what VFTV really delivered:

Now, beside confirming the above, all I need to know more than anything else are the mechanics: Will the game be stiff as ever (which caused people to prefer ISS/ProEvo and Fifa over Virtua Striker) or will the game feature some serious skills, amazing flexibility and a super easy leaning curve but with amplitude of depth (which is why Worldwide Soccer 98 was so awesome baring the other mechanical offerings that ISS64 provided) that many of the latest football games has forgotten? If the latter than this would could be the ultimate arcade football game for handheld and multi-style play. It's not about the graphics as Sega cannot compete against that Frostbite and Metal Gear engine, it's about making everything work in harmony and pure synchronous with each other without any element being an after-thought or a touch on the surface (hello Forza, the prime game series that does nothing more than touch on the surface when the dev introduce any new element into the game). Virtua Fighter 5 Arcade did this so well (don't think just the game, think of VFTV and the Card System too if you ever experienced it here in Japan) so Virtua Striker has a better chance of doing this but to a wider audience.

That is one of the games i want it so badly emulated, it seems no one is prepared to fix dolphin triforce version anymore. :(
Maybe one day Ian or someone can able to make it run correctly.

A few back months the dev. of demul told me Virtua Striker 4 was able to be playable using the triforce dolphin emu build but i couldn´t fingerout how.
I was only using the old school technique by adding the Gekko codes on the .ini file to make it work, but does show me the Boot Screen and doesn´t do anyting more...
If you know please post here the tutorial, maybe you are making my dream come true this summer. 8-)

Heres a video from my friend: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDeoVJepL60

The only one i got working was the Virtua Striker 2002.

Update: The official website remove the 3.0 696 version but i got a copy here: https://www.t2e.pl/News/archiwa.463/arc ... vn696.7028

What VS fans lack in numbers, they more than make up in obsessiveness. My inbox and this forum can attest to that.
