The sega model 1,2,3 hardware all runs at the totally non standard 57.524 fps. We had been running supermodel at 60hz to match standard 60hz screens, but that means the games all run too fast. I've added some code to supermodel to automatically set 57.524hz as a custom refresh rate. This will only happen when the app is running fullscreen, and when you exit supermodel, your default 60 or whatever refresh rate will automatically be restored. So it's quite seamless. This means we can get butter smooth tear free 57.524hz video and games can run at the right speed.
You shouldn't need any special h/w, I've got a non freesync, non g-sync compatabile nothing special 1080p panel running via hdmi.
To make this magic happen, you just need to create a custom refresh rate in windows. Then in supermodel set the -true-hz command line, together with -fullscreen. Make sure vsync is enabled
