Great! I'll repackage it with the ini file and readme and stuff after work to avoid confusing anyone else ;-)

I don't know how to create OSX packages so including SDL isn't happening. And static linking usually ends badly in my experience, but I can give it a try.

Downloading the SDL framework isn't a major hardship, lots of emulators on OSX require it so it's a good idea to have it in frameworks if you use them.

The repackage for OS X is up in the same place. The binary is the same as before, it just now includes the .ini file and license/readme files from the Windows binary distribution.

Thanks a lot RB! I'm sure Mac users are going to really appreciate this. I've re-posted it on the Supermodel download page as well. By the way, is it 32-bit or 64-bit only? Or are all Intel Macs 64-bit?

Bart: it's a 64-bit binary, but OS X can actually run 64-bit EXEs on a 32-bit kernel, and you even get the usual 10-20% performance boost. The only exception is the very first generation of Intel Macs in '06 had Core Solo/Core Duo CPUs that didn't support x64, but all the ones after that do.

I can't launch Supermodel from within terminal, I'm using Mac OSX Lion on a MacBookPro. It works if I simply double click the Supermodel icon (but I can't launch any games like that obviously)

SDL framework is correctly installed, and I frequently use SDLMame through the terminal so I'm not completely lost in it..

This is what it says from within the supermodel directory:

User:supermodel User$ Supermodel -daytona2.zip
-bash: Supermodel: command not found

Maybe you have to use: ./Supermodel daytona2.zip

That worked, thank you! Performance in Scud Race is amazing. Looks like a constant 60fps on native resolution.

You can check for sure by using -show-fps.
