Do you have ANY AntiAliasing settings turned on, whether in GDSX or in your graphics card settings? If so, you need to disable it. That will prevent the effects from displaying. Other than that I'm not sure what the issue could be.

JackoHedge is correct, Model 2/3 used medium-res (PC-like) monitors and generally didn't show scanlines the way older "standard-res" (NTSC) games did.

And those screenshots on page 2 of this thread convince me some of you have never seen a real CRT monitor or TV that was operating correctly - those Daytona shots are usually what you'd see after the monitor chassis had been on fire for a couple of minutes but was still managing to put out a picture.

PS: the faster path would be for Supermodel to support byuu's universal OpenGL shader package format. That includes a really good CRT TV simulation; we use a port of it in OpenGL builds of MAME.

With the Sweetfx Configurator Front End, i set the Advanced CRT option resolution to 8.0 and the brightness to 2.0 and the CRT CornerSize to 0.020 and FXAA Anti-aliasing to 9 & removed the tick from the one above it & left the rest how it is. Supermodel would look awesome with the filters, i hope it is compatible with it in the future.

Hi,
I know this post is 10 years old, but hoping you might see it.....

I've got Sweet FX running beautifully on Model 2,but can't for the life of me get it to run on Super Model!

I've downloaded Sweet FX and installed into super model folder, and even copied the model 2 Sweet FX files over to the super model folder, but no go.

Any thoughts?

Thx
