Cant map controllers to a wireless Xbox One Controller

Postby redjumpingman » Fri Jul 09, 2021 10:23 am

Been trying to use the controller mapping solution to assign controls to my bluetooth paired xbox one controller, but the assistant doesn´t register any inputs when setting/listening to the input, im therefore unable to use the controller wirelessly. On the other hand it does work properly when wired. Any thoughts, solutions or experiences that can help resolve this?. Great software otherwise, thanks.

is the controller working fine, wireless, in other programs? Just a shot in the dark: maybe some issues / conflicts with SDL libraries and wireless handling of the controller...

I got DualShock3 and DualShock4 both recognized and working wired and also bluetooth.

Edit/update 1: The controller in question is a the new series s/x controller, which i was actually able to map and set up, yet it doesn´t work properly since it cant register both triggers at the same time, while also not supporting rumble/force feedback. Checking out the differences between the new series controller and a previous generation xbox one type controller, which works well, i managed to notice certain differences both in hardware identification ( series controller is "Bluetooth LE Compatible xinput device, while xbox one controller is "Bluetooth Compatible xinput device") and in the axis id used for the triggers in each controller (xbox one controller sees both triggers as "JOY1_RZAXIS_POS", while the new series controller registers the the Right trigger as "JOY1_ZAXIS_NEG" and left trigger as "JOY1_ZAXIS_POS").
Im left to understand that the emulator still hasn´t properly incorporated the series controller properly as such, considering its hardware/software differences unless i'm still missing something. Otherwise the software works really great, so heres hoping for an update/fix which can address this alleged issue.

Thanks.
