Hello,
i'm trying to use config utility with a Mad Catz Arcade Stick (Street Fighter IV FightStick TE). Any input is not detected when i try to use the config utility.

I put manually under Supermodel.ini the buttons used JOY1_BUTTON3 etc etc and it works, but i cannot set UP DOWN LEFT AND RIGHT , i tried these voices but with no luck

InputJoyUp = "KEY_UP,JOY1_UP"
InputJoyDown = "KEY_DOWN,JOY1_DOWN"
InputJoyLeft = "KEY_LEFT,JOY1_LEFT"
InputJoyRight = "KEY_RIGHT,JOY1_RIGHT"

I'm using direct input. I went here https://gamepad-tester.com/ and it seems that UP DOWN RIGHT AND LEFT are seen as BUTTON 12, 13, 14 and 15 so i put those values with no luck

I don't know what i'm doing wrong. thanks for any help.

Hi cybermat,

Sorry to hear you have those input issues.

I use a PS2 Hori RAP 2 SA stick connected to my USB hub via a Brook USB adaptator.

I use Xpadder to match up keyboard keys to each of the button presses (look for the last freeware ver), you can also use Joy2pad as an alternative.

Once you create a profile for all the Keys, including UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, which you can assign to W, S, A, D, for instance, you need to edit the inputs in supermodel3 input config menu as W for 'up', instead of pressing JOY UP directly in your stick or leaving JOY UP in the. ini file, same with the other directions.

I prefer updating the. ini file with the inputs.

You can also create many custom profiles for different games and assign macros to one key presses.

I hope that helps :;
