Nice! My best is 1'59''46 on that course with traffic and automatic transmission.

Thanks! My time was with manual transmission and traffic. Sounds wild but it seems like 1'55''00 is possible but it depends on the acceleration techniques around corner and slipstreaming techniques. So crazy as I'm struggling to beat my own time that I did whilst half asleep.

Take a few shots of whiskey and try again. ;)

Decided to take up the Beginner Night Course challenge tonight and finally managed to finish it using manual gears with a half decent time (after about 2 hours of play):

I messed up a bit on both the sharp right corners but I just about managed to get away with it...

No whisky involved, but a fair amount of adrenaline.

Good job! I want to challenge that time but I don't have "time" in consideration of the next episode of VB. No pun intended. :)

EDIT: Ah! 1'57''54. I could have achieved 1'55-56'' but I screwed up lap 2 and 4. That solid time will do for now. :)

Thanks Dude. I love Scud Race, but I hate that (I still find) the drifting is so temperamental. Nothing more irritating than doing 3 excellent laps and then you mess up the 4th despite seemingly doing nothing different in your approach to a certain corner than in your previous runs. The amount of risk/reward involved in taking the difficult corners at speed is extremely precise.
