I had Supermodel installed a couple of years ago but never found the time to actually make it work until the Coronavirus forced me to spend more time at home. Now I got it configured and working well on my Win 10 PC (core i7 + Geforce 930m) using a wired Xbox360 controller to play and launching the games through the latest Nuexzz UI.
I can run basically all the games quite well but I can't make Ski Champ controls work with the 360 controller. Every time I start the game my skier keep going to the right and there is no way I can play it. I tried fiddling with the ini file with no success...
I have two main question, if anyone could be so kind to help
1) Can someone help me out with Ski Champ controls, maybe sharing some files already configured for it (nvram, Supermodel or Games ini files) or telling me what I should do? Maybe the problem is the 360 controller itself as this game does not "like" it? It works very well with all the other games...maybe I should use a Playstation controller only for Ski Champ?
2) It may sound silly but I have no idea of which version of Supermodel I am using, since I installed it a while ago...I know it is 0.3a but where I can see which SVN it is? I tried installing the latest Supermodel versions (787 or even 789) but they seem to run much slower on my machine...I would like to understand which SVN version I am using in order to understand how far behind I am on this front and choosing a good SVB compromise between running the games at decent speed and having them to be more accurate...
