Default controls are way too sensitive; tilting the joystick slightly to the left or right produces wild swerves. If I crank up the saturation in the config, this helps the sensitivity a little, but I then lose the ability to turn entirely to the left or right, which causes problems for everything from sharp turns to stuff like menu selections and name entry. It's been a little confounding so far. On an actual Daytona 2 arcade machine, I had by far the best experience with the Hornet car (as I was more used to the Daytona 1 style controls), but in Supermodel that car seems to be wildly touchy. Scud Race in general just feels really slippery.
I was wondering if it would be possible for saturation to be configured nonlinearly: making it so that small adjustments to the left or right barely moves the needle for the in-game steering, but as you get closer to the edge of the joystick's axis, the in-game input values crank up to compensate. Basically something like the green line below. Not necessarily these exact values, but more just to get a general idea of what I'm looking for.
