MVP Yuki Chan in VS2

Selecting MVP Yuki-chan
Go to Japan press start, diagonally right-down press start, down press start, left press start, right press start, right start, diagonally left-down start, and finally down to Russia to press start three times. If done correctly a challenger sound will be heard, then press three buttons to select MVP Yuki-chan.
but it didnt works. if someone manage to do it, it would be great to have a savestate of that game
