Run games at 60hz on a 120hz (or more) screen?

Postby artik1024 » Sat Jun 17, 2023 5:30 am

Hello, I'm facing an issue I can't solve. I'm using a 120hz TV, but it also affects all above 60hz screens, and I can't get games running at 60fps.

I tried to play with these 2 options, but none of them fix it. Or games run at 120fps, or way above:

Code: Select all
Throttle =1
RefreshRate = 60.000

My GPU is a NVidia 40XX. Any help to play games properlly without having to change my screen refresh rate?

The answer is to run the screen at 60 hz. Emulators are not like conventional games that will run at your system speed. They think they are running on 60hz hw, and without patching the game (somehow) its not possible to change.

Technically we could change the opengl swap interval to 2 so each frame now takes 2 frame swaps. This would only work on 120hz screens.

I'm quite late but had the same issue.

Have you tried pressing ALT + T? Its in the readme file and its there to frame limit games to 60hz

He already has throttling enabled in the config.
