Thanks.. I'm really trying to figure out how to get the last turn at a faster speed.. I havent played in a while but I really think the MBK legends are doing a super duper quick 4-1-4 after mowing the lawn on the last turn to get it side ways and still angle the corner entering 290kph.

Mowing the lawn  , I like that term. I need to try and get my skills up too, I haven't played any Daytona 2 in quite awhile and I wasn't that good to begin with.

lol. SCUD Race Medium you have the do the same thing to get around the corners. In some ways its easier than Daytona 1's swing 424 drift but still as tough. I know I'm looking forward to the newer build (whenever it comes out) and "hope" bootcamp can run it fullspeed. I played this morning with the steering wheel on the mac (no shifter so buttons will do for now) and its a big diference.. the last turn is easier but the second to last turn is more challenging.

I really wish the big Exec's at Sega would put Daytona2,SCUD,and VR Racing on X360/PS3 by now. Daytona2 at the least as they have the rights to the name

Virtua Racing is available for PS2 although you're probably looking for online play similar to the new Daytona.

Yeah.. VR 8-Players Epcot Center (1995 Style). Would Be Amazing. Too Bad Mame doesnt focus on multiplayer. Isnt the ps2 VR Racing JPN Only?

I was also under the impression that Virtua Racing for PS2 was Japan only, but apparently it did come out in Europe and the US as part of the Sega Classics Collection. The PS2 version of Virtua Racing is actually pretty kick-ass, check it out...

Odd that they didn't eliminate the pop-up entirely. The scene is filled in more smoothly (a small number of polygons at a time rather than large chunks) but it still looks very jarring.

It looks wonderful.. I may need to pull out mame and record some VR Racing Videos.. I was really good at that game in my younger days thanks for 32X. Going to Epcot and paying $4 to play Virtua Formula (Full Size Cars) and actually beating people everytime.. priceless.

MrThunderwing .. I have been playing the game with the g27 as of yesterday evening and Boy ol Boy.. big difference. I have only gotten one 42 second lap with this monster. my times are slightly slower but I have much more control over the First left turn (but i cant take it as fast with the wheel). With the wheel.. I'm doing a 4-2-brake+gas(on the mac the gas and brake share the same axis :( ) I use the brake to get away from the wall after lining up the front of the car to the left wall to skid away from it.. The closer you are to it the faster your exit curve is.. I'm going to post a video of me trying to control it with the wheel to really explain better.

That big second turn.. you can 4 2 3 and brake to keep it from going anything past 154 mph during the turn or the rear tires will hit the dirt and your car does the spin dance..

The long left at the end.. Controller i was doing a a 4-2-4.. I can do that with the wheel too but i rather do this method instead... Approach the corner from the far right ,get the left tires to go in the grass.. as soon as they leave 414 as fast as you can and during the 1 brake the car to get it around 165-170 and when it drifts slightly turn the wheel to angle it correctly. too much turning will make it ispin out and you can let off the as if youre getting close to the wall..

(For some reason Marubaku can stay past 175 or 180 during the begin of the drift.. They are amazing!!!

I'm gpiong to make a video just explaining it in detail ..

I need help for the expert track.. Someone please help me with the Hard Level Car..

No problem.. Ive been trying to understand the expert course... The big S turn in the docks is quite the turn.. its going to take me a while to get that down.. Anyone willing to help? Puullease..lol

Heres my approach.. cut the corn er close as possible..Downshift to 2 and Jam the Brake when you see 130mph.. 3-2-3-2-3-2 fast as lightning and you can exit the first right at 130. Straighten up then 2-3 again.. i think when i get this running on a windows machine full speed, im going to end up breaking my g27 shifter..lol

I had some problems playing last night with the g27 as well. Somethings loose and I will have to find out what it is.. something between ym shifter and pedals will send my gas off.. and i cant have that trying to master these games..
