Silent Hill: The Arcade NOW PLAYABLE ON WINDOWS!

Postby Jiterdomer » Sun Feb 16, 2014 4:13 pm

Another off-topic, while you guys are waiting for network emulation for Supermodel, here's a surprising news especially people who are living in North America, Silent Hill: The Arcade is now playable in the home PC outside of arcade boards!

:D :D :D

You need to sign up for Assembler for this. After the first Konami PC dump, I'm going to wait for Supermini Festa to be emulated and it's better than Wii port.

Yeah but for me the Wii version sucks it's missing a lot of gameplay mechanics like the announcer's voice saying "slipstream!" And any other crazy lines for him. The graphics on both PSP and Wii counterparts looked almost like a PS1 game while the Arcade version looks better. Also I'm waiting for Coopers 9 and Action Cop (Deka) to be dumped. The konami pc is like Taito Type X and it had a lot of fun games.

Wasn't there an arcade perfect version of this on PS3 as well or was that another GTI game? I've got one that I downloaded off the PSN but it's been a very long time since I played it and I can't remember the name. I just remember it was a Sumo port.

Cool find with the Silent Scopeiness there Jit, I'll have to have a crack at getting it running.

It's called GTI Club + for PS3 and it eventually cancelled due to expired license same with Outrun Online Arcade and the Steam port of Outrun 2006 way back in 2007. I'm waiting for Ville to get his hands on Silent Scope 2 and EX.
