* At first I have some questions concerning the roms to know if a set `Mame .0217` is viable for the emulation under supermodel?

* there is a problem with the SegaRally2 game:
- at the first launch no problem to contact everything works at its best (except the glitch that there can be during the race)
- on the second launch the game menu is no longer complete, we no longer see the choices available but only the background of the image
- after deleting the NVRAM file from the games `srally2.nv` the problem disappears!

* some option does not seem to work:
-show-fps: does not appear on the screen
-wide-screen: does not work
-stretch: does not work

* I would like a little more information on this:

  -frag-shader = <file> Load Real3D fragment shader for 3D rendering

Wide screen and stretch should work. You can see the difference in the racing games.
-show-fps only shows the frame rate in the window title bar. There is no in-emulator user interface, unfortunately. We really should at least have a way to display messages in the emulator but I've been too lazy to figure out how to properly perform text rendering.

The shader options are really for development purposes at this point. I think the new engine totally ignores these options. The legacy engine still supports them. The default shaders are compiled in and you can find them in the source code.

when I switch the emulator to

I can no longer use my wiimote which is in mouse mode so that everything works again I must return to default mode

Never tried usinga Wiimote. Does the mouse work?

the dolphin bar has a mouse mode which allows you to configure a wiimote as a mouse it is quite satisfying for gun games ;)

That's really odd. I don't have access to a Linux box right now but I seem to recall the mouse working in full-screen mode, at least in LA Machineguns. I'm not sure what would cause that...

Hi, I'm new to the forum and hope it's ok to use this thread for my issues on Linux.

I'm on Arch Linux and my GPU is a RX580. Everything 3D isn't drawn, the emulator complains about missing functions it can call.
