FullScreen mode issue

Postby scju » Mon Nov 29, 2021 10:17 pm

Hi,
I'm on a PC with Windows 7, i9-9900k, 3060ti, 16g ram, with a 19' 5:4 1280*1024 LCD, and with Supermodel-r867. I find in Sega Rally 2 (at least in the dessert stage) when the crowd along the road take pictures, the game will stutter. [Update: I don't know why, but it got fixed now. :D ]

Another issue is about the FullScreen mode. I use the settings:

[ Global ]
XResolution = 1280
YResolution = 1024
FullScreen = 0

However, it will still run in the FullScreen mode. :?:

Are you launching it from the command line? Or are you using a front end that may be injecting its own command line parameters? If that's your config file, it should launch in windowed mode unless you are supplying -fullscreen *or* you have a game-specific section in the config file that specifies full screen mode again.

I think I've got it. :)

I'm on a 1280*1024 LCD, so the settings:

XResolution = 1280
YResolution = 1024

just exactly cover all my desktop. That's why it looks like games are in full screen mode, even though I use "FullScreen = 0". :roll:

Try to check the font size setting of your Windows 10 system.

If you set up enlarging your font size like 150%, you will get 150% enlarged screen in supermodel emu.
