help getting force feedback to work

hi ,can somebody help please ,can not get rumble to work on xbox steering wheel ,works okay in m2emulator, i do have a problem with daytona2pe and daytona2 ,followed instructions from here https://www.supermodel3.com/AdvancedUsage.html
and i have checked "epr-20985.bin" CRC is okay and its in the rom file
but i get "Driver board intializing" at the start but then get "driver board error"
Also changed forcefeedback setting from =0 to =1 and added:
ForceFeedback=1
DirectInputConstForceMax = 100
DirectInputSelfCenterMax =100
DirectInputFrictionMax =100
DirectInputVibrateMax =100
DirectInputConstForceLeftMax=100
DirectInputConstForceRightMax=100

but getting that error at the start and no force feedback weak rumble as its a original xbox controller seen as directx in windows via xbcd driver

Update, supermodel reports(after starting rom)
Error. Unable to unset auto-centre on directinput joystick(some code)- force feedback is disabled
Is there any way to skip this check?, as im sure rumble would work if somehow i could disable this auto- centre
