My Gtx 1060 performs great on my 43'in tv at 1920x1080 resolution. My graphics card is 1080p so like you said, can't go any higher than 1080p. The progress so far is going great with Supermodel in terms of graphical and Network play. Naomi 2 emulation is a tough one. Performance is a resource hog on the GPU because of the Draw calls that they're to much thing happening simultaneously that things are drawn together. (Depends on how powerful your GPU is). I previously install a weak a Gt 1030 like years ago. My experience with that card was absurd and weak. Thankfully, the GTX 1060 gets the job done. I heard that MAME will use Vulkan in there BFGX plugin. But, I doubted that MAME will utilize Vulkan. I tried testing 3D games but it had no effect. My CPU is quite taxing pretty much I know MAME isn't all about the GPU. I found out that MAME's BFGX plugin is just a preliminary Vulkan API.Trojan X wrote:I don't think there will be considering how most graphic cards can run supermodel at 1440p resolution piss easily. It would be nice though but maybe they won't do it until everything is running perfectly both graphically and on a Lan network.
Of course. I'm happy for any dev team member can provide on direction on where the emu will go now from here. Personally, I wish for the team/contributors to move on to perfect the Naomi 2 emulator for the number of games on there are incredible and not running perfectly.

I'm very impressed with my GTX 1060. Nvidia cards perform well with Opengl. My original plan was to buy a high end AMD card right before I got the 1060. But I'm glad that I didn't. It would be a nightmare for meIan wrote:Soon? I have no immediate plans to write one. It might benefit AMD users because performance on AMD cards is fucking ridiculous
