I find it crashes on XP at 640x480, but works at 800x600. Weird...

It's a bit weird playing with the overlays like that, but it beats 640x480, for sure. Kinda wish Sega would just rerelease it. It was the last good Sega Rally.

Reading this thread made me to want to fire up my old PC version of Sega Rally 2 again. I think it still looks pretty awesome for such an old game. It's fairly simplistic, yes, but when a game runs at 60fps it seems to give it that extra special, magical, arcade-like quality I reckon. Ahhh, nostalgia...

You can play the game without using the CD.
Download _inmmcnf.

I found it easier to just copy the CD image to my hard drive and then mount it with a virtual drive. Same result, no need for a physical CD, without the need to download anything.

I Know, but we can play the game without mount the image and run all the musics in the installation Folder.
Thanks for that and DOSBOX i made a MK Collection in one CD + custom Menu.

Sega Rally 2 Images
Sega Rally 2 Audio Fix files for XP, Vista, and 7
Resolution change files
-1024x768
-1280x720
-1680x1050
-1920x1200

Install from Install CD
Unrar Audio Fix.rar to Sega Rally 2 folder
Mount or burn Play Disc (must be used in lowest letter disc drive)
Right click Sega Rally 2.exe and change to windows 98 compatibility
Play

*OPTIONAL SECTION*
You can change the resolution by unraring the desired resolution
files to your Sega Rally 2 folder (must choose 800x600 in display)
You can play with nocd (not compatible with resolution change file)
by unraring SR2 crack to Sega Rally 2 folder

I found that too, but i can´t get the files because i need to pay premium account, and that is not very belite in this days you know.
