afaik model3 uses trilinear filtering
Ian implemented bilinear filtering and when the mipmap jump happens there is this morphing happening
wouldn't be more accurate to implement trilinear? since because the new renderer uses shaders we can't force trilinear or anisotropic at driver level like in older buils
