Hi all,

i recently got a question from my friend why model 3 is not that well emulated, and why he cant play daytona 2
He saw some kid playing it on a switch ... but ...
long story short,

i'm about to install super model (or launchbox) on my friends laptop but all loaders i tried
my xbox controller is always recognize as player 2?

i had some help here and there, tried different loaders etc.
but always tend to bump apon the some issue. Player 2

Does anybody know what i'm doing wrong?
i can always put it coins bet never can press start , since he only sees me as player two (so fighting games work when i'm on the right hand side)

The good news is that Model 3 is emulated very well. I'm not sure why your controller is not being recognized but I recommend learning to launch Supermodel from the command prompt so you can configure inputs using its text-based configuration dialog:

Code: Select all
supermodel -config-inputs

Then follow the onscreen instructions carefully. Or, you can open up Supermodel.ini in the Config folder and edit it yourself. Should be largely self explanatory. It's hard to tell what the front ends are doing. They aren't officially part of the Supermodel project and some of the older ones have not kept up with changes in Supermodel. That said, input configuration has mostly remained the same since v0.2a.
