Help I cant configure pedals (dfp)

Postby mitsurugi » Mon Nov 07, 2011 2:06 am

Hello. I have a logitech driving force pro and i'm trying to configure supermodel but i have a problem with the pedals.
If i use the stock configuration.-
Accelerator Pedal = KEY_UP,JOY1_UP
Brake Pedal = KEY_DOWN,JOY1_DOWN

When i press gas pedal it acelerate, but when i drop this pedal the car brake. When i press brake pedal, nothing occurs.

I try several configuration like.-
Accelerator Pedal = KEY_UP,JOY1_YAXIS
Brake Pedal = KEY_DOWN,JOY1_ZAXIS

But its imposible for me configurate correctly the pedals.
Thank you very much.

Hi mitsurugi,

First of all, have you tried reassigning the accelerator and brake pedal inputs via the input configuration screen? The stock configuration is not guaranteed to work on all wheels so this is the first thing I suggest you try and it is easier than editing the Supermodel.ini by hand. To configure the inputs you'll need to run Supermodel with the -config-inputs command line option and then follow the on-screen instructions (see the README.txt for more details).

If you are not able to assign the inputs in this way (because Supermodel is not recognising the pedals) then it may be that you have the pedals set to function in a "combined mode" in your Logitech control panel. If this is the case, then you must calibrate the pedals within Supermodel before Supermodel will be able to 'see' them. To do this you should press 'b' on the configuration menu screen and follow the on-screen instructions carefully. Once done, you'll need to re-assign the accelerator and brake pedal inputs from the main menu.

Hope that helps, Nik.
