Afraid not. It's basically a res'd up Dreamcast version.

and slightly lesser sound quality.. whats funy is that the arcade version is running windows.. i dont know why it would be hard to port it directly or better yet emulate it

I think the Dreamcast version is the king of the home Hydro Thunder ports though, nice as the N64 version may have been (although I think the N64 version had a 4 player mode that the DC didn't)?

Totally off topic, but just noticed you live in Henbury jonny - I'm a north Bristol boy as well. Considering what a wide-range of different nationalities make up the main bulk of the membership of the forum, and the slightly niche appeal of Model 3 gaming, it's weird to encounter someone on the forum here who probably only lives about 2-3 miles away from my house. Weird in a cool way ;)

You are absolutely correct. The Dreamcast version of the game was indeed the closest version to the original arcade. The NIntendo 64 version is good but it doesn't hold the cradle next to the Dreamcast version let alone the original arcade. Unfortunately, as good the Dreamcast version is, it didn't have the same polish that made the arcade version so... refreshing.
