Center deadzone with G29 steering wheel

I've used this wheel on sim racers before but I can't figure out what to do about this. When there's no game open the wheel has this massive deadzone in the middle and it tries to keep it in that zone. When I start a game it usually goes away and I can play normally, but even after making a separate profile for Supermodel it still keeps that deadzone and its really hard to steer. I would appreciate if someone more knowledgeable than me told me what I have to configure for this to work (the wheel and pedals register ingame it's just really hard to steer).

Use the Logitech profiler tool to limit the steering to 270º, then run -config inputs and calibrate the steering to make sure it's read fully (it should go from -32768 to 32768 or something like that, with 0 being the center)

Hey, how do you prevent Supermodel from resetting the steering? If I set 270° inside Logitech Pofiler, then the wheel range is correctly limited at 270° (-135° / +135°), but as soon as I start Supermodel from Command Prompt I see inside the Logitech Profiler the steering is reset to its defaults (900°)...

You should be able to set-up a specific profile for Supermodel on the Logitech Gaming Software. That way, it should automatically change to 270º of steering when supermodel3.exe is running
