I fear us AMD plebs are heading back to the dark ages.
You don't notice until you play the snow stage of rally2, it hits slow patches there.
Rally2 was always the hardest on the AMD drivers, especially the snow stage.
Rally2 also needs a higher ppc setting, hence all the confusion. AMD users don't know if its the emu settings or the driver causing problems.
It's a bit of both.
As an AMD RX580 user, my advice is stick with Adrenalin 22.7.1, set ppc to 85 for Rally2 and all is good.
Use Rally2 as a benchmark, if you can play that, you can play anything.

you're ppc must be too low if it struggles with both old and new engine
I use default 50 for most games and only go up to 85 for games that can struggle. No need for any low or silly high numbers.
