Apart of the slowdown in Advanced and Expert course, the intro also seem to suffer some slowdowns along with the "heat is back" screen not showing properly.

I also tried different resolutions along with windowed mode to see if it would run faster, but it didn't, at all.

What's your PC Specs? "The Heat is Back" Screen is now showing properly in the next release (0.3a). Are you talking about Power Edition?

Core i5 750 slightly overclocked @ 2.73Ghz
8gb DDR3-1600 7-8-7-24.
eVGA Geforce GTX560Ti Superclocked (GPU factory-overclocked @ 900Mhz)
Windows 7 home premium 64-bit.
Good enough PSU, and good CPU coolings as well, nothing overheat.

And yes i'm talking about the Power Edition. I don't see why i should play the normal one when i get the Hornet Classic back in Power Edition, as well as the speedway and all 3 tracks linked together for 1 huge race

The slow downs are known to occur 0.2a and the attract mode introduction screen is broken in that version.

yes, attract mode...almost forgot about this term. So yeah, in attract mode, even with the Nvidia's Release drivers from Oct.2011, at the beginning of the attract mode, when the car roll and you see the camera is getting more and more up close to the car, this view seem to be particularly slow.

This is because the 2D Layer Priority was broken in that release and the first version. It plagues other games like Star Wars Trilogy and Virtua Fighter 3
