Scud Plus should be changable in the game assigments, there isn't a secret region code for this one.

And yes Scud Plus has a horrible FMV type sequence which I hate, actually stopped me using Scud Plus because it was too offensive to my eyes.

That is from the Model 3 Tech Video which is supposed to be released in public around anywhere else, but it was private because alot of people don't want to see the look on the Model 3 board in their own eyes, but when this game came out, people were surprised by this FMV and saying "Scud Race has a cutscene? O.O"

Is anyone lagging during the second attract screen where they feature a video clip of a red Lamborghini rushes through the Expert Course? (comes after the Super Beginner demonstration)

Yes that little bit of what looks like fmv....it was running very slow for me last night, thought It might have been a "deliberate" effect ie slow motion but I have tbh it didn't feel right!

On mine, it definitely lagged horribly. The sound was skipping, and the top and bottom halves of the screen were not synchronised and were very slow. I'm assuming that was NOT a deliberate effect! :lol:

Is it a problem of the emulation or just the speed of your computer?

Outrunner wrote:EDIT: I found how to change the region:

1. Set PowerPC frequency to 10 Mhz;
2. Boot up Scud Race Plus and let it load (it will take a while)
3. After it shows the first screen enter test menu;
4. The selection arrow will jump randomly between the options when you try to select but you will be able to select.

Also be wary that this game does not have inbuilt throttling and will speed up if you run it at more than 50 Mhz PPC it will run very fast at like 3x speed.

I think a complete core overhaul is needed.
When U meant "inbuilt throttling", do U mean disabling throttling or enabling it?

We should tell Bart to post this on the FAQs section just in case people were posting the same thread many times in the forums which is annoying

Done. The FAQ definitely needs some updating. Maybe I need to start a FAQ thread to gather more suggestions. It would be great if users could post some detailed explanations of how they got their racing wheel problems resolved because that seems to come up particularly frequently.
