Problems with Sega Rally 2 (glitches and disappearing cars)

What is the best Emulator version for Sega Rally 2? I see on Youtube that it runs good on older builds.
Because on the last version 858 the cars are glitching like hell and also on the Car Select Screen the auto's to select disappear most of the time.
Scud Race en Daytona 2 works perfect on the latest build but Sega Rally 2 not on my pc.
Got an RTX 3090 INTEL I9 10900K

Cheers.

Try increasing the PowerPC frequency to 75 MHz or so; 50 MHz is not enough to run Sega Rally 2 properly. You can add PowerPCFrequency=75 to Supermodel.ini or -ppc-frequency=75 to the command line.

I tried already 100% that didn't work (read it somewhere else) but indeed 75% the game works but now the weird part I don't see the cars or tracks in the Menu they are invisible to select!!??
Will try some things.

Update: Deleted my Rom and downloaded a fresh new one with 75% thanks!!! Because 25 50 and 100 it was glitching like hell!

Another Update: This is weird... the first time start the game up it works perfect (with a fresh Rom) The 2nd time I start the game begins with the Select Car menu (no Sega INTRO) AND I got invinsible cars and tracks in selection screen...

Update 3: Set it up Widescreen / Stretch / Fullscreen V Sync / Quadrendering / GPUMultithreathed / Multithreathed / Multitexture / Throttle on (everything except ShowframeRate) Tried many different options...
But no luck it's a random case sometimes it boots good but a lot of times it boots directly in the menu with invisible title screen and cars!?? Really Really annoying and weird...

Sega Rally 2 still has some underlying emulation issues. According to the FAQ starting a game before any 3D graphics show up can cause PowerPC errors in Sega Rally 2; in this case it might be responsible for the cars not showing up properly. If you have any leftover credits, the game will immediately start after booting and likely run into problems.

it simply needs a higher clock speed to run
ie 100mhz. The actual arcade used 166mhz if i recall. Default value in supermodel is 50mhz, which is not fast enough for most games to run smoothly.
I'm not sure why it became more CPU hungry after I updated the timing code but it did.
Supermodel needs a mechanism for the GPU to drop frames if they aren't complete at the end of the frame.

LOOOL!! You are right. I just did go to the testmenu and cleared data and restart and now I've restarted 10x times after I see the Racing Demo (3D Graphics) and it keeps running fine.
If I quit earlier the game will next time load directly to a title screen with invisible cars!?? I hope Bart can fix this issue in the future but thanks for the help!

With PowerPC frequency 75% it works perfect and now that I know that I need to wait for the 3D Graphics to show up so it keeps running fine the next time it's playable.
But indeed it would be great if those issues will be fixed in the future :)

For me SEGA Rally 2 works perfectly at 120mhz. At 166mhz I have huge performances drops (while both CPU and GPU are not in full load)
