LostWorld Special Vs LostWorld

How different is the game-play for Jurassic Park: The Lost world Special compared to the regular one? It looks interesting.

No idea. I've never seen the special edition and it isn't dumped, unfortunately.

I think it's (the special version of the game) at one of those Sega arcades in Canada.

IBoat Race GP is similar in terms of rarity.

I thought the only difference was the cabinet.

I've played the game a few times at Sega Joypolis in Tokyo. It features a small theater of sorts with motorized seats that can spin around (there are two screens, on opposite walls). The game basically remixes the stages from the normal game and if you play with another person you share the same life bar.

Is the remixing the same as shuffle? Scenes from the images at system16 dot com have a chopper flying overhead in the dome stage and I never seen the T-Rex ram the tractor-trailer from the side. Are these stages the same, with added artifacts?

I wonder if this version of The Lost World was actually running on 2.0.

There was a Namco game out in 2001 called Turret Tower that was similar to that, where you get inside this vertical blue tunnel, and during game play, you shoot turrets and spin like hell on the seat. It was a blast! R.I.P. GattiLand.

The fun factor for Turret Tower looks dull.
