well, there's one more thing you can try ...

Maybe you're using the on-board GPU in your CPU. The i5 3570K has an Intel HD 4000, and I think, that in the Nvidia driver, hav an option where you can configure whether to use a discrete GPU or the GPU inside the i5 3570K.

In the Supermodel folder, look in the error.log file, the Open GL info, to see what GPU the emulator is using.

For exemple, this is my error.log with the AMD HD 6870

Code: Select all
OpenGL information:
                   Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.
                 Renderer: AMD Radeon
                  Version: 4.2.12172 Compatibility Profile Context 12.100.17.0
 Shading Language Version: 4.20
Maximum Vertex Array Size: 2147483647 vertices
     Maximum Texture Size: 16384 texels
Maximum Vertex Attributes: 29
  Maximum Vertex Uniforms: 16384
Maximum Texture Img Units: 16

If this is not the case, could also be a bug with the Nvidia Open GL driver. You could try other emulators using the Open GL plugin, for example, the Dolphin emulator has a OGL plugin, also, you could test with older drivers from Nvidia, 2 or 3 months ago.

Now look at this, I made a test, I put the resolution of the supermodel 0.3 in 1280x720 in windows mode, not in fullscreen, and my resolution of my desktop is 1920x1080 and look at the result:

Image Subido en subir imagenes

This is not normal, the window resolution of the supermodel it's too big, and with others resolution in window mode the same, more big than normal.

Here the problem is solved.?

thus configure
Code: Select all
XResolution = 1920
YResolution = 1080
WideScreen = 1
FullScreen = 0

then open m3window and run the game .

I'm using my NVIDIA card, because when y chose the HD4000 supermodel crash to windows.

I tried Dolphin in Open GL and don't have this error, works very well.

I tried 2 older versions of the drivers of my NVIDIA and the same error, I have two more versions to try, but I'm losing my hope.

Thanks.

Let's try a more systematic test: what happens when you try to run Supermodel in the default resolution of 496x384 (windowed)? Then, 640x480, 1024x768, etc. (all windowed)?

All the resolutions works well but all have overscan, and are resized too big, because my desktop have 1920x1080 and supermodel 0.3 in 1280*720 have the same size.

And with the next resolutions more and more big, all have overscan.

Are you using a front end? Make sure to launch Supermodel yourself from the command line like this:

supermodel scud.zip -window -res=496,384

Then, take a screenshot (Alt+PrintScrn) and upload the image here as a PNG file so I can measure the dimensions.

Succes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I have a frontend, and I have a personalized option in it to put a personal resolution(sorry I didn't see this before), and trying varios resolutions I made it, I put in it 1450* 650 in fullscreen and fit in my 1920*1080 of my desktop!!!!!

Supermodel in my PC works with Overscan but now I can play in full screen ok.

Thanks for your time, and all my thanks to this big emulator!!!

And a few photos of my 2 cockpits in 1 PC:

Now I need a link connection of the next version soon!! :D

wow, dude ! awesome !

Are they both playable ? I mean... If the 2 instances of Supermodel are from the same computer, then one is running while the other is on the background... I see two wheels, does that means that they are both playable at the same time ?

No, Supermodel 3 in the same PC with two instances only one is playable, this is only a test for me.

I hope in the future become true.
