Postby javilevel » Sat Apr 06, 2013 3:22 pm

Hello, first of all sorry for my English.

I have de 0.3a svn270 and de emluator work very well in my I5 3570k, GTX 650, 16GbRAM, Windows 7.

But when I put it, in full screen, the borders disapear and de image it's too large and I lose a part of the screen, Here the screens:

I tried de 0.2a version and the same problem.
I changed de resolution, the grafics options, Vsync, Widescreen, and the same result.
This problem only hapens with supermodel, all the other games and emulators don't have this issue.

I tried in my notebook and works well in fullscreen(but very slow...), so it's my computer, but what's the problem?

Thanks a lot for all the work here!

Does it occur with all resolutions or just particular ones? I would try adjusting your monitor settings. You may need to shrink the image horizontally and vertically to see all of it.

It happens with all the resolutions, no matter what I choose, the same result.

If I select to shrink the TV options and put it to 4:3 o another one more small, the result is the same problem but in one inferior part of the TV.

A good clean install of the Graphic Drivers will help?

1- Uninstall all.
2- Run Driver Sweeper
3- Select your specs from your drive, analize and clean.
4- Reboot your PC.
5- Install again the Drivers.

Hope that will helps ;)

This is very bizarre. Does it happen in other games or emulators? Have you tried SDL-MAME? Supermodel uses SDL to manage graphics so I wonder if other SDL programs have similar issues on your system.

New drivers and last version of them, and same results.

Now look at this, I made a test, I put the resolution of the supermodel 0.3 in 1280x720 in windows mode, not in fullscreen, and my resolution of my desktop is 1920x1080 and look at the result:

Image Subido en subir imagenes

This is not normal, the window resolution of the supermodel it's too big, and with others resolution in window mode the same, more big than normal.

Well, I dont have Nvidia, but could may be a problem related to the internal upscale of yr GPU.

I dont know how the Nvidia driver manage this issue, but here in the AMD driver, there are two options that address this, one of them are for the overscan and underscan options, to adjust the screen on monitors that cut parts of the image.

Here on my HDTV, I needed this option to compensate the wrong display of the image , but then, I saw that i could make this adjustment directly on TV using the automatic aspect ratio function on the tv, this make the resizing of the image, based in the original resolution signal of image.

Try some analog option in your Nvidia display driver.

if this dont work, uninstall the driver, restart your computer in safe mode, and use the program driver sweeper/driver fusion in safe mode, using the option related for the video driver for Nvidia, this will clean any dlls that have left over after a unninstall.

Supermodel 0.1 the same error.

I tried with driver sweeper and reinstall my drivers and the same.

I tried all the aspect ratio options of my tv and nothing.

Thanks Guys but now I'll play Supermodel 3 in windowed mode and I'll wait for the next version of the emulator, thanks.
