Supermodel requires an Intel Mac, and running 10.5.8 in 2011 strongly suggests you have a PowerPC machine. Could you verify?

Ok. The posted binary should work provided you install the SDL framework (there should be directions already in the "Can someone compile for Mac OS X?" thread).

-drag SDL framework folder into Macintosh HD/Library/Frameworks
-Put a compatible rom (in zipped format) in the Supermodel folder, no sub-folders!
-Open Terminal (Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app) and drag Supermodel folder into it, press enter. This brings you in the Supermodel directory on the Terminal.
-Type ./supermodel romnamehere.zip to launch that rom in supermodel.

Did you deviate from these steps in any way? I think that's the easiest way to launch the game, so I'm just making sure..

From some research, it appears Leopard can't handle 64-bit binaries properly and that's what's happening here. I'll make a 32-bit version later today and we'll see if that helps.

Leopard users: please try the 32-bit binary I have just posted (the "UPDATE 2"). This in theory should fix things for people still running Leopard on Intel Macs as well as owners of first-generation Intel Macs that didn't have x64 support due to their original Core Duo/Core Solo processors.

hello arbee,

thank you for your work, but it doesn't work for me.
i have downloaded the two files and extract the 32 bit file to the folder, then i open terminal and i become the same: Last login: Sat Oct 1 07:02:07 on ttys000
mac-ischis-imac:~ macischi$ /Users/macischi/Documents/Supermodel_02a/Supermodel /Users/macischi/Documents/Supermodel_02a/dayto2pe.zip
