Lindbergh emulation

Postby VirtuaHunter » Thu Jan 31, 2019 9:06 am

a little off-topic, but I know there are some people interested.

It appears that someone is working on a Lindbergh emulator (not teknoparrot), I hope it's real.

This is the same guy (JayFoxRox) who was working on Lindbergh emulation yeeeears ago, but never actually publicly released his work (I think, could be entirely wrong about this though mind, that there was some sort of financial motive behind this...). If he gets it up and running (and working on Windows 7) then great, but feels a bit like he's coming a bit late to this particular part now...

do you mean there is a win 7 fix for teknoparrot lindbergh games in the works?
Or you are referring in genral to the fact that teknoparrot already do lindbegh?

There's no Windows 7 fix on the horizon for Lindbergh games in Teknoparrot that I'm aware of, I just meant, as you rightly say, that Tekknoparrot's already doing Lindbergh on Windows PCs now.

Just copied the opensegaapi from 1.93 or 1.92 into 1.94 and it's working now.

Use the shader fix for Outrun, use the ABC patch for After Burner Climax. I could only get After Burner Climax working in windowed mode, for some reason it doesn't want to go full screen for me. After Burner's got broken controls, so you can't really play it properly anyway. You can get into the test menu to calibrate the left stick and improve things a bit, but it doesn't 1005 fix it (luckily I've got my PS3 version of the game anyway. I was just very curious to see the actual Lindbergh version running on my PC)

Yep, what Abe said! I didn't have a copy of 1.92 to do this with, but I just copied and pasted my opensegaapi file from v1.93 into 1.94 and it worked.

After Burner Climax works perfectly for me, fullscreen and controls 100%....

Do somebody here tried to play the Rambo: The Hero Is Back! through the Teknoparrot?
