What settings are being used for analog controls? I am using a happ analog trigger stick with 5k pots connected to ultimarc a-pac encoder board. It works, but the movement is not that smooth. It is almost to fast to control it properly. Really hard to target things with the cross hair.

Was wondering if anyone else is using an analog controller like this and what their settings are to slow and smooth things out.

Also, what settings if any should I be playing with besides dead zone and saturation?

Check the Error.log. What does it say?

Thanks alot for posting this fix, makes it way more enjoyable now!

Heya, I want to use my Xbox One Controller and I want flight controls to be inverted for Y Axis (so pressing up => nose down) but light saber levels non-inverted.
Looking at the quoting solution, though... if you also have JOY_XAXIS_INV that would mean that you had to press left to aim right, correct? That seems weird.
Is there perchance some short-cut, a cheat or something, to go directly to the light saber levels? Just for quick checking of the control settings...

I recommend not inverting the X axis, unless you're into that kinda thing, I guess...

I'm using an Ultimarc U360 analog joystick and yes it acts like you describe. A slight movement left and the cursor jumps all the way to the left. It's not smooth at all and acts almost like a digital joystick.

I have a trackball on my cabinet and while it's not "correct", it the best way to control the game. Cursor moves smooth as butter.

I have the Ultimarc U360 Flight stick which is the same joystick and I don't have this issue, works fine. 100% sure you have the analog input map loaded in Ultramap?

I'm trying it with the latest roms version and model 830...but when i changed to U/R, ingame levels shows black screen, i can only hear the music of the level.
do i need to load specific zip file for this method? (i have 3 files: "swtrilg.zip" "swtrilgj.zip", "swtrilga.zip")

thanks:)

Are you sure you aren't just starting the game too quickly (before 3D graphics are first shown)? This is a common issue with this game and Sega Rally 2.
