Mouse Control Issues in SWT (Versions 800+)

Hello, all, this is my first post here, so try and be easy on me.
Since I play Star Wars Trilogy Arcade exclusively, these issues only apply to this specific machine. I've done a bit of searching on the forum and haven't found any mention of this, unless I'm not looking hard enough, so here goes. First, ever since I switched from Version 775 of Supermodel 3 to the 800 versions, my mouse no longer properly hooks to the emulator window when in full screen, and I don't know why. No other version of Supermodel 3, that I've played, has had this issue. I'm not sure if this occurs because I have multiple monitors, but if that's the case, the issue isn't present in 775. Second, and less importantly, is there a reason why SWT makes mouse input gravitate towards the center of the screen? I'm not sure what the deadzone of the original joystick is because I haven't seen this cabinet in literally years, but it's always been very distracting for me and I don't know if there's a way to alter this (please direct me to instructions if they exist, I'll admit I haven't looked too deeply into this). The joystick deadzone issue goes away on Endor for some reason, but is always there for the rest of the game. The mouse hooking issue makes it very easy to accidentally click outside of the window and have the whole game minimized while it's still in progress.
If anyone has any way to solve the hooking problem, I'd love to hear it, (I don't even know if the deadzone issue is fixable). Thanks guys.
PS
I know this is beating a dead horse, but the Death Star tunnel is also unrendered for me as well, though I'm sure pretty much everyone is still having this problem.
