Daytona 2 WIP: Layer Priorities and Specular Lighting
Scud Race WIP: Specular Lighting

Star Wars Trilogy (and many other games) now have correct 2D layer priorities. I need to measure the performance impact of the new 2D rendering system, optimize the code, and then I'll post some more screenshots.

EDIT: Added Scud Race video.

Very cool but Star Wars Trilogy is now unfinishable due to the fact that in the third level (Endor) the targeting crosshair is now invisible, the shield thingy is missing partially, and the enemies have no life bars.

On the other hand on the same screenshot i can see that the lighting works flawlessly :) .

So, slow and steady we are getting there :) .

P.S: This is with rev 237.
L.E: Only the Endor level has the problems that i described above + some missing stormtrooper textures.

This also happens to me on v2 because of my ATI Radeon HD 4200 Graphic Card so maybe its the graphic card or a glitch?

For me, the cursor and shield turn black, so the game is still playable. It's texture related but I'm not sure yet what triggers it.

Note for those using SVN builds: specular lighting is in the core now but I haven't yet committed shaders that use it, so you won't be able to see those effects yet. It works well for most games, even if it isn't accurate, but Scud Race is bugging me. The tail lights on AI cars are too shiny, making them look white, which is certainly wrong.

The most beautiful thing is Daytona now!!

No Framedrops anymore and accurate speed. On my PC at least at 63 FPS all the time. Also nice Menu Track Pics are there now. Can´t wait for the Shader Files (Using SVN Build) to give it a go :)

Almost perfect Arcade adaption!
